The policy forum breakfast focused on the status of out-of-school time (OST), where we are and where we need to go as a community.  Forum speakers addressed some of the following questions:

• What is the overall objective of out-of-school time programming nationally and locally, and what major accomplishments have we made in reaching this objective?  
• In this context, what are the major challenges to and opportunities for the expansion and improvement of OST programming nationally and in the District? Are there particular strategies that work well in addressing the issues identified?
• What tools and mechanisms exist to address program quality, effectiveness and accessibility?
