School Administrator License Renewal Requirements
 
Administrative Services Credential licenses may be renewed upon the completion of 200 clock hours of approved professional development activities and services completed within the previous five years from the date a renewal application is filed with this office. Professional development hours may be accrued by completion of activities from one or more of the following options: college credit, professional workshops presented by approved nationally recognized entities, and professional development activities approved by employing local educational agencies.

Requirements:
Submission of all appropriate information is required for all individuals seeking to renew their license. Please follow these guidelines:
  • Submit a completed license renewal application form; and,
  • Attach the application processing fee in the form of a money order or cashier’s check made payable to: DC Treasurer. A fee is required for each license and/or licensure area being renewed; and,  
    (no personal checks or cash accepted).
  • Attach original official seal-bearing university or college transcript(s) and/or original certificates verifying completion of your professional development activities totaling at least 200 clock hours completed within the previous five (5) years; and,
  • Attach an original official seal-bearing certificate issued by the Office of Workforce & Professional Development and/or any other authorized Local Education Agency entity or content department, if the activity/workshop has been approved for training; and,
  • Attach a copy of the DC license(s) being renewed.
